How to Fix Netflix Proxy Error in 2 Minutes

Why Netflix Blocks VPNs
Netflix is contractually required to restrict content by region due to licensing agreements. They use sophisticated detection systems to identify and block VPN IP addresses. When multiple users connect from the same IP (common with VPNs), Netflix flags it as suspicious.
Netflix doesn't block VPNs because they want to — they're legally required to by content licensors like Disney and Warner Bros.
Fix #1: Switch Servers
The most common fix. Your current server's IP might be blacklisted, but another server in the same country often works. In your VPN app, disconnect and reconnect to a different server in your target country. If you're trying to access US Netflix, try servers in different US cities (New York, Los Angeles, Chicago).
Some VPNs label servers specifically for streaming. Look for 'Netflix', 'Streaming', or 'Optimized' tags.
Fix #2: Clear Cookies and Cache
Netflix stores location data in your browser cookies. Even with a VPN, these cookies can reveal your true location. Clear your browser's cookies and cache, then try again. On Chrome: Settings > Privacy > Clear browsing data.
You'll be logged out of Netflix and need to sign in again after clearing cookies.
